Life continues to be a cycle of learning and being in tune with our surroundings. I continue to be amazed how you capture like experiences across cultures to bring a light to what is occurring in this country. Continue to shine the light!

There’s something sacred about how shared human experiences bridge divides, and I’m grateful you see that thread woven through the work. The curiosity you mention, that cycle of learning, feeds everything I write. Thank you for reading so thoughtfully and for reflecting back why this work matters.

Having someone beside you (who is connected to you) when you are in recovery, I think, is the main ingredient to healing.

You’re absolutely right about the power of connection in healing. And being separated from the people who anchor you can wound in ways that go far deeper the physical. Thank you for recognizing something so fundamental and for reading with such care.

Isn’t it powerful how ancient wisdom speaks so directly to our current age? The clarity of the Deuteronomy text is striking.

Beautiful words. I so enjoy your posts. And I wish we still lived in South Georgia. I would love to visit all of the cultural centers you listed. Maybe someday soon!

That means the world to me! I hope you make it back soon. Something happens when you’re physically present in these spaces that even the most carefully curated words can’t quite capture. But that’s the work, isn’t it?

Your ability to weave and use your personal memories into social, political, cultural, historical, and so many other "-als" discourse is both powerful and magical. Once heard, your voice is impossible to un-hear. Your stories draw readers into your world...or so it feels. Thank you for using your voice to touch hearts and minds and connect us in this space.

This is incredibly moving. Writing can feel like an act of faith, putting pieces out and trusting they’ll find the people who need them most. Your words remind me why this work matters, why this space means so much. Thank you. For being here. And for holding these words with such care.
